Pleuranthodium racemigerum (Zingiberaceae)

This ginger is immediately recognizable by the bright orange fruit cluster than hangs downwards. Otherwise, I think I would be hard pressed to tell it apart from the common Alpinia caerulea. More pictures when I see flowers.

Hornstedtia scottiana (Native Cardamon) (Zingiberaceae)

Certainly unmistakable but need some looking for. The ripen fruits are supposedly edible.
